Arbor Lodge neighborhood homicide victim identified

Tracy S. Rasberry, 24, was found dead by the Portland Police Bureau after they responded to reports of a shooting early Wednesday morning.

PORTLAND, Ore. (KOIN) — Police are confirming the identity of a victim in a deadly shooting that happened in North Portland early Wednesday morning.

Tracy S. Rasberry, 24, was found dead by the Portland Police Bureau after they responded to reports of a shooting just before 5:30 a.m. near North Atlantic Avenue and North Buffalo Street, just south of North Lombard Street.

A medical examiner also confirmed Rasberry died of "homicide by gunshot wound." The victim's family was notified of his death and are asking for privacy, officials said.

Police had originally said the suspect fled the scene before they arrived. They still haven't made any arrests and the case is still under investigation. However, anyone who may have information is encouraged to contact police.
