Rohit Sharma Will Jump Into Barbados Ocean…: Sourav Ganguly on How India Captain Would React if England Win T20 WC 2024 FINAL
Barbados: Rohit Sharma would be leading India in another final in roughly seven months time. In November last year, Australia beat India in the 50-over WC final. Now, Rohit has another shot at an ICC trophy and the best part is that Australia is not their opponents in the summit clash, instead it is South Africa. Also, Rohit would realise this could be his last shot at winning an ICC trophy. Former India captain Sourav Ganguly reckoned Rohit would jump into the Barbados ocean if they lose.
“I don’t think he can lose two World Cup finals in seven (six) months. He will probably jump into the Barbados ocean if he loses two finals under his captaincy in seven months,” Ganguly told PTI.
“He has led from the front, batted brilliantly, and I hope it continues tomorrow. Hope India finishes on the right side, and they should play with freedom. They have been the best side of the competition. I wish them luck, I wish they win. Hope they have a little bit of luck tomorrow because that is required to win big tournaments,” Ganguly added.
