Jennifer Paige exploded onto the music scene when she released her smash-hit track Crush.

Released in 1998, the song had its first airing on KIIS-FM in Los Angeles.

It then went on to become the station’s most requested song of the summer.

Crush was also the top three Billboard chart hit in the US, while in the UK it listed in the top 10.

Her debut album was released the same year and Jennifer went on to record three more – although they failed to gain the same traction as her first.

But flash forward 26 years and the singer looks like she’s ageing backwards.

The American star still has her blonde hair and regular posts on her Instagram account.

Over the years Jennifer has faced family tragedy – with both her mum and dad dying within a close space of time.

On her official website, it reads: “In January 2008, shortly after Paige had relocated from Los Angeles to Nashville – where her parents also lived – her mother passed away.

“Two weeks later, her father had a heart attack and died unexpectedly.”

She added: “But I wasn’t sure if I wanted to continue putting myself through the ups & downs of an artist’s life while feeling so raw.”
