Clearing out and 'cooler' Saturday
What We’re Tracking
- Strong to severe storms over night
- Seasonable temperatures this weekend
- Possible storms for Fourth of July
After an active night, we're off to a quiet start this morning. Cloud cover is sticking around and temperatures are in the 70s. Dew points also in the 70s make it a humid start to our weekend.
We will gradually clear out as the day goes on. Slowly becoming sunny for the afternoon with cooler and more near average temperatures in the upper 80's. Winds will be from the North about 10-20 mph. Humidity will also take a drop off as our dew points are expected to be in the upper 50s by Sunday, resulting in drier air.
After the weekend break from the heat, temperatures ramp back up. Highs by Tuesday of next week soar near 100° yet again so enjoy the weekend of cooler temperatures. We're still eyeing a front that might try to move toward the area with a few storms by the middle of next week that could impact holiday activities.
