Posting on a food news Facebook page, one eagle-eyed customer showed off what they had found in their local branch.

Quality Street’s famous Green Triangle will now be brought to fans in a bizarre new way this year.

The confectionery brand has joined up with coffee giant Nescafe to create the unique Green Triangle Mocha drink.

The hazelnut-flavoured chocolate is combined with rich espresso and creamy milk to make a delicious new beverage.

Unveiling the product, the shopper wrote: “Trying the new Nescafé Quality Street Green Triangle Mocha from Morrisons.

“I think this is the best Nescafé instant coffee we’ve tried in a long time.

“Tastes just like a Green Triangle – spot on.”

They also revealed that a box containing seven servings is available for just £2.25.

Other social media users showed their love in the comments.

One said: “Can’t wait to try this.”

Another added: “Oh these sound good.”

Dozens of Brits simply tagged their friends in the post too as the drink was shared 24 times within a couple of days.

And it seems like that’s not the only flavour in the collaboration, with one commenter referencing a peppermint version.

An announcement from parent company Nestle reveals this to be one of two extra mochas created in partnership with Aero – a peppermint flavour and a golden honeycomb variant.

It comes after major chocolatier Cadbury joined forces with an iconic biscuit brand to create a new range of bars.

Plus, the company also sent sweet-toothed fans wild with a new flavour sent out to B&M stores.

Elsewhere, biscuit behemoth McVities went the other way, announcing a new biccy based on an iconic chocolate bar.
