Acting legend Donald Sutherland was born in Saint John, N.B., in 1935, but he spent many childhood years in Nova Scotia. "I'm a Bluenoser, I guess," he once said. "I smell like it. I feel like it. I think like it. The jokes that I find funny are essentially Nova Scotian jokes."
