What We’re Tracking

  • Cooler and pleasant Sunday
  • Heating back up early in the week
  • Possible storms for Fourth of July

Temperatures have dropped into the 60s overnight. Winds will be from the North to Northeast at 5 to 10 MPH. A cool start to what will be a very pleasant day to wrap up the weekend.

It will feel more like fall for our Sunday as highs struggle to get out of the upper 70s. Winds will stay light out of the north and northeast throughout the daytime and humidity is significantly lower with dew points in the 50s, resulting in drier air. Enjoy the lower dew points now because the humidity is back starting early next week.

After the weekend break from the heat, temperatures ramp back up. Highs by Tuesday soar near 100° yet again so enjoy the cooler temperatures today. We're still eyeing a front that might try to move toward the area with a few storms by the middle of next week that could impact holiday activities.
