'Inside Out 2' Crosses the $1 Billion Mark Already, Sets a New Record!

Inside Out 2 is massive.

Pixar and Disney’s Inside Out sequel has crossed the $1 billion club at the global box office in record time, THR reports.

The movie hit the billion mark on its 19th day in release, faster than any animated picture in history.

Inside Out 2 stayed at No. 1 in the domestic box office this past week, bringing in $57.4 million for a North American total of $469.3 million. Overseas, it grossed another $108 million for a foreign total of $545.5 million, marking $1.015 billion globally.

The Pixar film is the first movie since Barbie almost a year ago to join the billion club. it’s the 11th film to achieve the milestone, with Disney claiming eight of those releases.

In 2015, Inside Out brought in $858.8 million globally.
