ENGLAND left it late but have made it into the quarter-finals of Euro 2024 after a nail-biting win over Slovakia.

Gareth Southgate‘s side appeared to be heading OUT of Euro 2024 but Jude Bellingham scored a stunning 95th-minute overhead kick to send the game into extra time.

Harry Kane then scored less than a minute after the restart to complete an incredible turnaround and send England into the latter stages.

England were awful in Gelsenkirchen with Ivan Schranz scoring an early goal for Slovakia.

The underdogs appeared to be on their way to securing a huge upset but a long Kyle Walker throw was flicked on by Marc Guehi and Bellingham fired in an incredible equaliser.

Straight after the restart, England won a free-kick and as it was fired back into the box, Ivan Toney helping on for Kane to head in from inside the six-yard box.

England will take on Switzerland in the quarter-finals of Euro 2024 after beating Slovakia.

The Swiss comfortably overcame Italy 2-0 on Saturday afternoon to progress to the quarters.

The match will be played on Saturday, July 6 at Dusseldorf’s Merkur Spiel-Arena.

The match will kick off at 5pm BST.
