ALDI is bringing back its “intriguing” flavour crisps perfect for BBQ season along with other goodies.
The supermarket giant has brought back a range of flavours from across the pond ahead of a big holiday.
The American range has returned to the shelves of Aldi ahead of the Independence day on July 4.
One treat in particular has peaked shoppers’ interest with its unusual flavour perfect for summer parties.
The cheese burger flavoured crinkle cut crisps have proven popular with people racing to the supermarket to nab it before it’s gone.
These salty nibbles are not only delicious but also reasonably priced, costing just £1.15 for a 150g package.
The specially selected crisps are packed with beefy and cheesy burger flavours.
Shoppers have flocked to the comments to express their excitement over the new snack.
One person wrote: “These were so nice.”
Another one added: “We need to try these.”
A third person said: “That sounds intriguing.”
“The cheeseburger ones are lovely,” another added.
Aldi has made sure to cater to meat-lovers with its new products as they launched New York Beef Deli Burgers, retailing for £3.99.
For an ultimate American feast, the bargain retailer also added XL Burger Buns in a pack of 12 for £1.99 to pair the burgers with.
Just in time for campfire, Aldi is also selling their giant marshmallows which can be paired with chocolate and biscuits to make a s’more.
Sweet-toothed shoppers will be delighted to learn that the supermarket has brought back its soft-centred cookies in fan-favourite jive and Titan flavours.
Aldi’s American range is now available across the stores, but the supermarket warned customers.
“Shoppers better act quickly though, as with all Specialbuys, once they’re gone, they’re gone!” it said.
Aldi recently announced that it had made huge changes to the way it sells fruit, to cut back on plastic use.
It will be removing plastic packaging on bananas in a trial across selected stores in the North East, Yorkshire, the South West, the South East and the Midlands.
It comes as Aldi shoppers are rushing to buy a “pretty” £9 middle aisle bargain to brighten up their garden.
The popular supermarket chain is known for selling products on the cheap and one customer recently found a bargain deal in their local store.
The savvy shopper was thrilled with her buy and quickly took to social media to show off her loot from Aldi.
She revealed the retailer was selling solar glass snowdrop stake lights to put in your garden for just £8.99.
Taking to the Facebook group, Extreme Couponing and Bargains UK, she alerted fellow shoppers of her find.
Along with pictures of the goods she wrote: “Bought this yesterday from Aldi £8.99.”
And shoppers raced to their nearest Aldi store to get their hands on the bargain retailers own branded veggie meals for as little as 99p.
The popular supermarket chain revealed their veggie alternatives to shoppers on a Facebook post.
When's the best time to shop at Aldi?
WHEN it comes to shopping at Aldi, the best time to do so depends on what you want to buy.
For reduced items – when shops open
Red sticker items are rare at Aldi’s 830 UK stores, but the supermarket says that none of its food goes to waste so there are some to be found – if you’re quick.
A spokesman for the supermarket said: “All items are reduced to 50 per cent of the recommend sales price before stores open on their best before or use by dates.”
That means you have the best chance of finding reduced food items if you go into stores as soon as it opens.
Opening times vary by shop but a majority open from 7am or 8am. You can find your nearest store’s times by using the supermarket’s online shop finder tool.
For Specialbuys – Thursdays and Sundays
Specialbuys are Aldi’s weekly collection of items that it doesn’t normally sell, which can range from pizza ovens to power tools.
New stock comes into stores every Thursday and Sunday, so naturally, these are the best days to visit for the best one-off special deals.
For an even better chance of bagging the best items, head there for your local store’s opening time.
You don’t have to head into stores to bag a Specialbuy, though.
They also go on sale online, usually at midnight on Thursday and Sunday, and you can pre-order them up to a week in advance.
As long as you spend at least £25, you’ll get the items delivered for free.
Remember: once they’re gone, they’re gone, so if there’s something you really want, visit as early as possible
