I’m in my 60s & had enlarged, clogged pores – an $18 buy cleaned my ‘dirty’ skin, it’s the best stuff since sliced bread

A SKINCARE fan has shared a beauty oil that cleared up her clogged pores.

She praised the $18 Amazon skincare buy for cleaning better than any other cleansers she’d tried.

Redditor Dbs0534 shared the skincare recommendation in a post to a subreddit dedicated to anti-aging tips for people over 60.

“Okay, as you get older, your pores enlarge a bit, right?” she said.

“Well, I’ve been having issues with the tender skin between my brows and eye crease.

“The pores would get clogged up, and nothing I tried would clean them up, and I felt so dirty. Ick!”

She explained that she attempted to squeeze her pores to clean them but to no avail.

“So then I go into the pinching, squeezing, picking mode, and with that sensitive skin — what a mess,” she said.

On a recommendation, she stumbled across the oil that solved her problems from beauty brand Anua.

“I was trying so hard to just live with it when someone mentioned Heartleaf Pore Control Cleansing Oil and how much they loved it, so I thought…” she said.

“You all, this is the best stuff since sliced bread!

“One week, and my dirty eyes are so clean!

“And my skin feels super hydrated — I could almost [forgo] the rest of my bedtime ritual. I won’t, of course, but I could!

“And my skin is pretty dainty, so it would let me know if this is too harsh.”

Best of all, the cleanser effectively clears her pores and helps take makeup off easily.

“And it really takes the makeup off. I no longer have to use [micellar] water on my eye makeup anymore,” she said.

“This stuff just whisks the mascara and shadow away.”

She added that she simply rinsed the product away with lukewarm water.

“I also use one of my cheapie washcloths I got from Walmart,” she said.

“Very thin, a tiny bit rough, but kinder to skin than some of those exfoliating pads.”

People thanked her for sharing the rave review, especially one woman who struggled with the same issue.

“Yes! I’m always trying to walk that fine line between overhydrating the eye area and then getting clogged pores/milia vs. under moisturizing and being wrinkly,” she said.

“This sounds like a good product, especially looking for sensitive skin products. Thanks for the tip!”
