Kenny captioned the post: “Just got this lot for just over a fiver in Co-Op.

“Thanks to having a membership, I got 50p off any Pepsi product (can not in picture) and £1 off my entire shop.

“Plus loads of RTC stuff and the pizzas were 54p for Co-op members.”

The text came with a picture that showed an array of goodies including cheese and tomato pizzas, Jelly tots and Aero chocolate.

Co-op made a major change to its rewards in January leaving shoppers “gobsmacked”.

The supermarket ditched its points scheme in a massive change to its membership club.

Members are no longer be rewarded with 2p for every £1 spent on the retailer’s own-brand goods.

Members were informed of the change via email.

It read: “By making changes to our membership benefits, we’re giving you more immediate value back.

“From 24 January, you’ll no longer earn rewards for purchasing Co-op products and services.

“Instead, as a valued member, you’ll always save more with exclusive Member Prices across Food, Insurance, Funeralcare and Legal Services, giving you savings on the things you need.”

It comes as shoppers are running to Argos to buy a bargain BBQ with a drastically reduced price.

And those who have bought it say that it’s perfect for camping – which 200,000 Brits are doing right now at Glastonbury.

The Argos Home 35cm Round Charcoal BBQ is selling for only £8, down from £14.

That price reduction has come in just in time for those looking to get on the tongs and cook outside this summer.
