The martial arts expert got life with a minimum of 16 years’ jail in 2009.

The Parole Board said yesterday there will be a private hearing for Lynch on July 23 and 24.

Such a hearing takes place when there is a “realistic prospect” of release or to consider a move to an open prison.

At trial, the judge described the acid attack as “pure, calculated and deliberate evil”.

Sylvestre got life with a minimum six years.

He was freed in 2018 but recalled to jail in 2022.

Katie, 40, is a panellist on Loose Women and presents Katie Piper’s Breakfast Show on ITV.
