Joseph Paintsil scored a first-half goal, L.A. added two scores late in the second half, and the Galaxy blanked the San Jose Earthquakes 3-0 for their fourth consecutive win.

The San Jose Earthquakes created opportunities to score, but couldn’t convert as they lost to their rival LA Galaxy 3-0 in the 101st California Clásico at Stanford Stadium on Saturday night.

The Quakes outshot the Galaxy 17-14, had six shots on goal and had an expected goal rate of 1.9, but failed to put a goal in the net.

Here are photos from the game.
