Vehicle found in Atchafalaya River in St. Landry Parish
MELVILLE, La. (KLFY) – Melville Police spotted a vehicle submerged in the Atchafalaya River.
According to the the St. Landry Parish Sheriff’s Office, deputies were notified by Melville Police Department of a vehicle in the water on the Atchafalaya River. The search and rescue dive team was contacted and quickly responded to the incident.
No one was found inside the vehicle and it was removed from the water way. Melville Police are investigating the incident.
