New head coach to take charge from Sri Lanka series: Jay Shah

The Indian cricket team will have a new head coach for the upcoming limited-overs series in Sri Lanka starting later this month, according to BCCI secretary Jay Shah. While Shah did not reveal the successor to the outgoing Rahul Dravid, former opener Gautam Gambhir is expected to take on the role. The Cricket Advisory Committee has conducted interviews for the job and has shortlisted Gambhir and former India women's coach W V Raman.
