Sensei Keeling earns medals in JKA-World Federation tournament

Sensei Keeling came out of retirement from competition to participate in a tournament that was part of the JKA/WF national summer camp in New Mexico at the end of June. He earned medals in three of the four events he entered:

3rd in men’s open black belt kumite

2nd in senior men’s kumite

1st in senior men’s kata

It was only his 4th time competing in kata in the past 25 years and the first time doing kumite at a tournament since 1999.
