How to watch Wimbledon on Monday, July 1
Welcome to the best tennis month of the year.
While the end of the month brings a return to Paris for the 2024 Olympic Games, the start of the month takes fans back once again to the holiest tennis grounds on earth. That’s right, The Championships, Wimbledon begin on Monday, July 1.
So far we’ve seen four players earn Grand Slam trophies in 2024, Aryna Sabalenka and Jannik Sinner at the Australian Open, and Iga Swiatek and Carlos Alcarez at the French Open.

When does Wimbledon start?
Defending champion and No. 3 seed Alcarez kicks off the tournament with a match on Centre Court at 8:30 a.m. EDT.
In addition to Carlitos, Day 1 features top contenders like No. 2 Coco Gauff, No. 3 Sabalenka, No. 1 Sinner and No. 5 Daniil Medvedev along with veteran Grand Slam champions like Stan Wawrinka and Naomi Osaka.
