Air India to open Flying Training Organisation in Maharashtra's Amravati; to train 180 pilots every year

New Delhi [India], July 1 (ANI): Air India on Monday announced that the airline will open a Flying Training Organisation (FTO) at Amravati in Maharashtra as part of an initiative by the Maharashtra Airport Development Company (MADC).

The FTO will help to strengthen the available pilot training capacity in India.

The DGCA-licensed FTO at Amravati's Belora airport will be operational by first quarter of financial year 2026
