Tottenham agree part-exchange deal to secure first summer signing – Journalist
According to talkSPORT reporter Alex Crook, Joe Rodon is set to join Leeds United as part of a deal to bring Archie Gray to Tottenham Hotspur.
Archie Gray is on the verge of Tottenham move
Over the last 24 hours, an increasing number of sources have suggested that Gray is on course to seal a switch to Tottenham on the back of his outstanding campaign at Elland Road.
Earlier today, Fabrizio Romano reported that Spurs are optimistic about finalising the deal while Sky Sports subsequently claimed that the 18-year-old had completed the first part of his medical examination at Hotspur Way last night.
Crook has now taken to social media to assert that the move is now impending, with Gray having passed his medical at Tottenham.
Joe Rodon is set to swap Spurs for Leeds
The journalist further asserted that the deal struck between the two sides will see Rodon, who spent last season on loan at Elland Road, return to the Yorkshire club on a permanent basis.
He tweeted: ‘Understand Joe Rodon is set to join LUFC as part of Archie Gray negotiations. Gray has already completed his medical with THFC.’
Official confirmation is still pending, but it seems Archie Gray is on his way to Spurs and Joe Rodon will be joining Leeds United this summer.

If true, this would be a brilliant deal for Spurs as not only would the club further free up the wage bill by losing a player who is surplus to requirements but they would also be getting one of the best young players in the EFL.
That’s pretty good business, whatever way you look at it!
