Tottenham confirm sponsorship deal which will net club millions of pounds
Tottenham Hotspur have announced a new sponsorship deal ahead of the new 2024/25 season.
Tottenham have a new training wear partner
The club have today confirmed that they have teamed up with BetMGM to become the new training wear sponsor and also the official betting partner.
SportBusiness reported the news back in April where they revealed the US-based gambling giant would replace Getir as the brand featured on the club’s training clothing.
Tottenham’s deal with Getir came to a conclusion at the end of last season with Sky News reporting that the Turkish-based grocery delivery app still owes the North London club close to £5m having decided to withdraw from the UK market.
Getir had become the club’s first-ever men’s training kit partner and an ‘Official Global Sponsor’ ahead of the 2021-22 season.
Spurs are also yet to confirm their new sleeve sponsor after online car retailer Cinch decided not to extend their partnership having triggered an early exit clause (SportBusiness).
BetMGM replace Getir in multi-year sponsorship deal
The agreement with BetMGM is reported to be worth around £10m per year, compared to the £8m per year that Cinch were reportedly paying which represents a £2m increase to the bottom line (Football.London).
BetMGM already has sponsorship deals with fellow Premier League clubs Newcastle United, Manchester City and Wolverhampton Wanderers.
The club revealed as part of the launch of the new Tottenham home kit for the 2024/25 campaign that the branding of the training wear partner or new sleeve sponsor will feature on any of the retail range which are made available for sale to the public.
Ryan Norys, Chief Revenue Officer, Tottenham Hotspur, said: “We are delighted to announce this partnership with BetMGM. The Club and BetMGM’s values align exceptionally well through a competitive spirit, whilst also continuing to strive for greatness.
“BetMGM has demonstrated it is putting its customers first by continuously developing its product offering to fans. Throughout this partnership, we are looking to help BetMGM further establish itself in the UK market, as well as enhancing customers’ knowledge around responsible gambling.”
Sam Behar, UK Director of BetMGM, said: “We are very proud to launch this partnership with Spurs as their progressive spirit fully aligns with BetMGM’s ambitions. This is our third Premier League deal in just a week, and we look forward to kicking off this exciting season as we continue to grow BetMGM’s presence in the world of sports.”

Tottenham have secured another significant brand ahead of the new season which will only help to benefit the profitability of the club and will hopefully see some of the funds invested towards improving Ange Postecoglou’s squad.
