Widespread rain showers this morning but will be clearing out by noon. Left with a partly cloudy sky. Morning low temperatures in the middle 60s, but after the rain passing by, we will clear out. With afternoon sunshine, temperatures will climb into the upper 80s east to upper 90s west. Winds picking up this afternoon from the southwest with a gust near 30 MPH. Humidity also back for today as dew points climb into the lower 70s.

Highs by Tuesday soar near 100° yet again with heat indices into the 105-110° range for Tuesday afternoon. We're still eyeing a front that will move in late Tuesday triggering scattered strong to severe storms.

The frontal boundary hangs around the region for Wednesday with periods of showers and storms. There is a chance a few storms will develop again on Thursday for the 4th of July, but temperatures will remain near normal by the end of the week.
