Amsterdam city pool opens for the season
The City of Amsterdam announced that their Municipal Pool is now open for the summer.
AMSTERDAM, N.Y. (NEWS10) -- The City of Amsterdam announced that their Municipal Pool is now open for the summer. Located within the Mule Commons of Veterans Park, the pool will be open seven days a week from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. through late August.
The Olympic sized pool is open to both residents and visitors, with admission costing $1 for all guests. Kids under age 10 must be accompanied by an adult.
All swimmers are required to wear a bathing suit, as athletic shorts are not permitted. Lifeguards are on duty at all times. The pool will be open until 7 p.m. on the following dates:

- July 3
- July 5
- July 8
- July 10
- July 12
