South Korea-based bakery expands with second central Ohio location

UPPER ARLINGTON, Ohio (WCMH) - A bakery with locations across the country is opening another central Ohio spot.

Paris Baguette is opening its newest bakery at Arlington Gateway, which is located on Lane Avenue, according to a social media post from the Columbus Retail Team. The post noted that construction is "currently underway." According to Drew Ponton, a Brokerage Associate with the Columbus Retail Team of Colliers, the shop will be occupying space R104, which is next to Half Price Books.

This is the bakery's second location in central Ohio, with its first in Easton at 3969 Merchants Row. The Merchants Row spot is the first location in the Columbus area. As of now, there isn't an opening date for its Arlington Gateway location.

The bakery also operates another Ohio storefront, which opened in Cincinnati in 2022. The company has plans to expand across the state, four specifically looking into the greater Columbus area.

The café offers a variety of baked goods and treats including cakes, bread, salads, gourmet sandwiches, coffee, tea and more.

Paris Baguette started in South Korea in 1986 before coming to the United States in 2005. Paris Baguette now has more than 4,000 locations around the world.
