Woman arrested for alleged grand larceny at North Greenbush Home Depot

The North Greenbush Police Department reported the arrest of a Vermont woman following a larceny investigation.

NORTH GREENBUSH, N.Y. (NEWS10) -- The North Greenbush Police Department reported the arrest of a Vermont woman following a larceny investigation. Tiffany Covey, of Killington, is facing multiple charges.

On June 24 around 2:10 p.m., officers responded to the North Greenbush Home Depot after staff reported that a man and a woman had left the store with a bag of stolen items. Police say they stopped Covey and the man in the store's parking lot after seeing the two enter their car.

Covey was allegedly found to be in possession of $1,199.74 worth of merchandise. She was taken into custody and charged with fourth-degree grand larceny and fifth-degree conspiracy before being released.

Covey is scheduled to return to court at a later date. She was also issued a "no trespass" order by the business.
