3 shot after fight in Travis County outdoor market parking lot

A fight in a parking lot Sunday night preceded a shooting that sent three people to the hospital, according to the Travis County Sheriff's Office.

TRAVIS COUNTY, Texas (KXAN) — A fight in a parking lot Sunday night preceded a shooting that sent three people to the hospital, according to the Travis County Sheriff's Office.

Deputies said they responded to a shots fired call at about 8:51 p.m. in the 8700 block of FM 812 in Travis County.

Investigators said the shooting happened at an outdoor market after "an altercation between several people who are known to each other," adding they believe this is an isolated incident. Three people got taken to local hospitals, deputies said.

One person had life-threatening injuries, while two others are expected to be okay despite getting hurt, too.

The sheriff's office said deputies detained several people on scene. However, they're not reporting any arrests as of Monday morning.
