Season two of the Netflix reality series The Mole just began and viewers might be curious to know more about how the show works.

For those who don’t know, 12 people start off in the competition together, doing challenges to add money to an overall pot. One person is actually The Mole, secretly trying to sabotage them and cause them to lose money. After every challenge, contestants take a quiz about who they think The Mole is. The contestant who scores the worst on the quiz gets eliminated.

During the season finale, the final three contestants will take the quiz and have to reveal their final pick for The Mole. One of them will actually be The Mole, so there will really be just two contestants facing off against each other at that point.

The winner of the previous season took home a cash prize of $101,500. But what does The Mole win?

What does The Mole win for being the saboteur?

The Mole is not eligible to win the cash prize at the end of the season. All of the other contestants are working together to add money to the pot, which one contestant wins at the end. The Mole has to work against the team and secretly sabotage each mission to take away money from the pot. Last season, the winner took home a $101,500 cash prize.

So, what does The Mole get for being the saboteur?

It’s not exactly clear at this point what The Mole wins, but the general consensus is that this person is paid a general salary for being on the show. All contestants on reality shows are paid a minimum amount for their time, but it’s likely that The Mole is getting more than that since they’re not eligible to win the prize at the end of the season. It’s unknown what this amount is as of this time.

Fans have been suggesting that The Mole should win prize money for each dollar amount they successfully take away from the pot in order to incentivize them to continue sabotaging the game.
