Ex-Brazil boss Menezes takes charge of Fluminense

RIO DE JANEIRO, July 1 (Xinhua) -- Former Brazil national team manager Mano Menezes has agreed to a six-month contract as head coach of Fluminense, the Rio de Janeiro club said on Monday.

Menezes, 62, replaces Fernando Diniz, who was sacked last week after a wretched run of results.

"With a contract that runs until the end of 2024, the coach begins his work this Tuesday," Fluminense said in a brief statem
