Police arrest two Albany teens for Monday robbery

ALBANY, N.Y. (NEWS10) -- Albany Police said two 19-year-old men allegedly connected with a robbery on the 200 block of Second Street Monday morning have been arrested. Police said Jorden Witenhafer, of Albany, and Keylonne Williams, of Rensselaer, were arrested on Second Street and Lexington Avenue by the vehicle they were in.

Police said the robbery happened at 9:30 a.m. when the victim was approached by two people while standing outside. The victim told police he was hit in the face by one of the suspects while the other store stole cash from the victim's hand and fled.

According to police, Witenhafer and Williams were additionally identified as the alleged suspects in a car larceny on June 19 in the 200 block of North Pearl Street. During the car larceny, police said multiple credit cards were stolen and used at Sunoco at 795 Broadway.

Police also arrested a 14-year-old connected to the June 19 larceny but won't release his name because of his age. The teen was charged with fourth-degree grand larceny and second-degree criminal impersonation.

Witenhafer and Williams were arraigned in Albany City Court and released. The 14-year-old was given an appearance ticket for a later date with Albany County Probation.
