Hunter King Talks Hopes of Writing Screenplays & Plans to Pitch One to Hallmark Channel!

Hunter King is a fan-favorite star of Hallmark Channel movies and she’s hoping to add a behind-the-scenes role in upcoming projects!

The 30-year-old actress stars in the network’s brand-new movie Two Scoops of Italy and she was just chosen to star in Hallmark’s upcoming Christmas movie that marks a first-of-its-kind partnership with the NFL.

Hunter has been writing screenplays in her free time and hopes to pitch one to Hallmark very soon!

While promoting Two Scoops of Italy, Hunter told Soaps.com, “My boyfriend [Chris Copier] and I… I think we must’ve manifested the idea of Italy. We had just finished writing a script that we want to be like a Hallmark-y kind of script, takes place in Italy.”

Hunter and Chris came up with the idea while exploring Italy during downtime on the Two Scoops film shoot.

“It definitely gave us some good inspiration when we were there,” she said. “So, it was really fun to dream and let yourself come up with all different scenarios of where you could do different movies for Hallmark.”

Hunter is hoping to pitch her movie very soon!

“We’re in the final stages of making our pitch deck, but hopefully, hopefully, we’ll pitch it to them soon. Keeping everything crossed though,” she said.

Last year, Hunter came out on top of all other actresses on Just Jared’s Favorite Hallmark Star poll.
