Heat rushes in for Tuesday with a HEAT ADVISORY for much of the region. Highs by Tuesday soar near 100° yet again with heat indices into the 105-110° range for the afternoon hours. We're still eyeing a front that will move in late Tuesday triggering scattered strong to severe storms. High wind is the primary threat with these storms, but some hail is also possible.

Most of the day on Wednesday will be dry, but a few chances for showers and storms, especially by Wednesday night. There is a chance a few storms will develop again on Thursday for the 4th of July, but temperatures will remain near normal by the end of the week.

Lower humidity and slightly cooler weather moves back in for Friday and Saturday before we warm up again. Looking to be mostly dry this weekend with seasonable temperatures in place.
