Sharing a screenshot of Deadline‘s story, he wrote today: “been a helluva ride , cinco!! wowza.

“Not many can say the same so proudly. Excited to finish strong with the people I love. Forever grateful for Bump.”

The publication revealed that the show, origianlly broadcast on Australian streaming service Stan, was coming to an end.

With season five currently filming in Sydney, bosses decided to can Bump not long after it was shelved by U.S. broadcaster, The CW.

Currently, only the first three installments are available on BBC iPlayer, with the fourth coming soon.

The comedy revolves around Oly (Nathalie Morris), an ambitious teenager who unexpectedly falls pregnant, bringing numerous challenges to both the Davis and Chalmers families.

In the final season, viewers will get glimpses of the characters’ futures as the storyline alternates between past and present.

They will also confront the cancer diagnosis facing Oly’s mother, Angie (Claudia Karvan), while also finding moments of joy in her second pregnancy.

It comes just weeks after acclaimed BBC crime drama Tokyo Vice was cancelled after two series – despite its impressive ratings.

The drama was based on US journalist Jake Adelstein’s account of the police beat in the Japanese capital, which was also released as a book in 2009.

Airing on BBC One, it starred Ansel Elgort and Ken Watanabe.
