South Africa’s David Miller shares his thought on T20 WC Final Loss to India: Says it was ‘Tough Pill to Swallow…’

South African batter David Miller expresses sadness at his team’s loss to India in the ICC T20 WC at Barbados, saying that the defeat is “tough pill to swallow.”

A fine show of bowling by Arshdeep Singh, Jasprit Bumrah and Hardik Pandya along with the fabulous knocks by Virat Kohli and Axar Patel helped India in winning the ICC World Cup trophy.

We have endured pain, but I know this team has the resilience and will keep raising the bar.”

In nine matches, Miller scored 169 runs in the tournament at an average of 28.16. His best score was 59*.

In the final match of the tournament, India won the toss and opted to bat first. After getting shattered on 34/3, a partnership between Virat Kohli and Axar Patel of 72 runs restored India’s position in the game. A 57-run between Virat Kohli and Shivam Dube took India to a total of 176/7 in 20 overs.
