CABO SAN LUCAS, MEXICO – Marina Fiesta Resort & Spa, part of the Mexico Grand Hotels prestigious collection of Los Cabos luxury resorts, announces the completion of recent renovations to its signature restaurant, Los Deseos. In addition to a menu revamp, upgrades include a complete renovation to dining and bar spaces featuring a fresh bohemian style emphasized by contemporary architecture, warm lighting, and artwork celebrating Mayan culture. The redesign of the restaurant was a collaborative effort with renowned interior designers Axel Macias and Alejandra Barrasa Macias, who also contributed to the interior design of the affiliated property, Vista Encantada Spa Resort & Residences.

We’ve elevated every element of the restaurant to reflect a contemporary elegance that complements our exciting new menu. Los Deseos, which translates to The Wishes, embraces a sophisticated, yet cozy ambiance featuring wooden furniture and earthy tones. A warm atmosphere is complemented with fridge and straw hat lighting fixtures and a signature chandelier made of wine and glass bottles. The walls of Los Deseos are adorned with unique calligraphy throughout the space and a mural that takes center stage paying homage to native Mayan culture. Additional decor elements include marble tables, potted plants, candlelights and patterned floor tile. In keeping with the tradition, Los Deseos has also revamped its beloved “Wishing Tree,” where guests are invited to make a wish and place a note amongst the leaves, adding a touch of hope to every visit.

In addition, the restaurant introduced new menus for breakfast, lunch, and dinner featuring contemporary Mexican cuisine led by Executive Chef, Pedro Olivas. Highlights of the revamped dinner menu include the Margret Pato (Duck Magret) in Mole Rosa, a traditional sauce from Taxco, and the Pulpo (Octopus) Xcatic. A dessert favorite is the Avocado Mousse, elegantly presented on a crunchy base of peanuts, pumpkin and sesame seeds. As the evening unfolds, the restaurant transforms, featuring a distinct setup with elegant glasses and dishes, soft candlelight, and a fully illuminated space. As part of the branding changes, Los Deseos has also introduced a newly designed logo.

Los Deseos is open daily from 7:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m.
