Disgraced teacher Rebecca Joynes enjoys final taste of freedom ahead of sentencing for sex with two teen pupils
A DISGRACED teacher has been seen enjoying a final taste of freedom before she is sentenced for having sex with two teen pupils.
Rebecca Joynes, 30, pinned her blonde locks underneath a baseball cap as she visited a retail park.
The teacher looked casual while looking at the shops – wearing a grey baggy New Balance hoodie and black trousers teamed with trainers.
She was seen getting into a white car, which appeared to be full of belongings.
The visit to the retail park comes just days before Joynes is due to be sentenced for sleeping with two of her pupils.
She struck up relationships with the boys after preying on them as they sat in her maths class at school.
Joynes groomed one boy, 15, with a £345 Gucci belt before sleeping with him twice at her Salford flat.
The predator also had sex with a 16-year-old boy on 30 different occasions before having a baby with him.
She is set to be sentenced on Thursday after being convicted of four counts of engaging in sexual activity with a child, including two while being a person in a position of trust.
During a trial, jurors heard Joynes set her sights on the first teen, Boy A, while he was in her maths class.
The former gymnast – known as “Bunda Becky” – exchanged flirty texts with the teen before they went on a shopping trip together.
After splurging on gifts for him, Joynes took the boy back to her flat in Salford and twice had sex with him.
A police probe was launched after the details of the illicit encounter came out and Joynes was arrested.
She was subsequently bailed on the condition she did not contact any child under 18 but instead she “brazenly” targeted Boy B.
This progressed into a sexual relationship when he turned 16 after Joynes sent a photo of her bum while wearing a pair of knickers.
She also wrote the teen a gushing note describing him as “perfect”.
Once he turned 16, the boy went to Joynes’ flat where she straddled and kissed him before taking his virginity.
The pair later went on to have sex at least 30 times in “numerous different places”.
Despite claiming it was “nearly impossible” for her to get pregnant, Joynes went on to have a baby girl with the pupil.
She was taken from Joynes following an emergency court hearing 24 hours after delivery and is now in the care of her teen dad.
The teacher will be sentenced at Manchester Crown Court on Thursday.
