LOVE Island’s Ronnie Vint has revealed two show stars have ‘unfinished business’ – and it spells heartbreak for Mimii Ngulube.
The mental health nurse, 24, is currently coupled with Ayo Odukoya, 25, but their loyalty to one another has been put to the test with the infamous Casa Amor villa.
While Mimii has rejected interest from newcomer Lionel Awudu, 24, Ayo’s become acquainted with fashion designer Jessica Spencer, 25.
Speaking on The Morning After podcast, axed Islander Ronnie, 27, has given his take on the drama.
The semi-pro footballer reckons Ayo wasn’t ready to cut things off with Uma Jammeh, 23, last month – and now he’s going to test the relationship with Casa’s Jessica.
He said: “Ayo, obviously, with the Uma thing, I always went off that, and I felt like after that, he wasn’t fully done in that situation.
“And I felt like with the Wil [Anderson] thing, that come in, that’s why he backed off.
“But I felt like him and Mimii were just so cool that he wanted an actual test to see where he’s at.
“And I don’t know if that’s right or wrong, but I feel like in the villa sometimes, if you do and you find that, you move on with that person, it makes it stronger, you know, you’ve been there.
“And I feel like he’s not lying about it. He wants a natural test to see if is he real with Mimii.
“And I don’t feel that much wrong with it, but where she’s such a lovely girl in the way she is, it’s hard to be around and also speak about that.”
Both Ayo and Mimii arrived on day one and had been previously coupled with other people earlier in the show.
While the two have been separated during Casa Amor, Mimi was approached by newcomer Lionel from Reading, asking if she’d like to share a bed.
Following another pair agreeing to do so, Lionel said: “Mimii, I was going to ask you the same question, do you want to share a bed?”
However, the show’s new boy didn’t quite get the answer he’d hoped for, as Mimii replied: “I’m sleeping outside tonight, just for tonight.”
In the meantime, scenes from last night’s episode saw get flirty with Jessica from London.
Ayo's love triangle with Uma and Mimii
Last month, model Uma told Ayo that she was “removing” herself from the love triangle with him and Mimii.
The bombshell’s decision to cut dead any advances towards him came just hours before a recoupling, which saw the girls calling the shots.
Uma had her chance to snare semi-pro footballer Ayo, as she was given the chance to pick before Mimii, but she chose to couple up with fellow bombshell Omar.
Ayo made it clear that he had been interested in Mimii from the very first episode, but things changed when Uma entered the villa.
Uma SNOGGED all six of the boys when she entered, while the girls watched, and then decided to take Mimii’s love interest Ayo to the Hideaway.
While Mimii shed a tear over the situation, Uma and Ayo appeared to get on like a house on fire – and he even told her that she was his “set menu”.
The hunk told Uma that he was interested in getting to know her and that Mimii knew that he was open to get to know other sexy singletons.
While the two are sitting in the kitchen, Jessica asked: “What’s your type?”
Ayo laughed: “I can’t say it… You, innit. I love a pretty face. That’s my problem.”
Jessica smiled: “Pretty faces are meant to cause problems…”
Ayo replied: “Facts. You are doing that as we speak. Causing problems.”
As the islanders got to know the new faces, fans insisted Mimii rethink her coupling choice.
They didn’t hold back their opinions when it came to Mimii’s next steps, as one wrote on X: “Mimii is your head screwed on tight or something like…”
Another added: “Mimii is sleeping outside like a village dog while Ayo will be happy to see a new girl to share a bed with on the first night. Foolish girl! #LoveIsland.”
A third simply wrote: “Mimii you must recouple #LoveIsland.”
