EMMERDALE fans have picked up on eerie connection to serial killer Meena Jutla on the show despite her being behind bars.

Eagle-eyed ITV viewers have spotted that one current Dales resident appears to be borrowing from the murderer’s wardrobe.

Meena became one of the show’s biggest villains and built up a huge fanbase thanks to her trademark camp style when it came to her killings.

During her iconic reign of terror over the Dales, Emmerdale experience a ratings triumph as viewers flocked to see what the careful killer got up to next.

Eventually, the law caught up with deranged Meena and was thrown behind bars but not without one final show down.

Since her prison stint, it seems as though one of her former neighbours has had her hand in her wardrobe.

Charity Dingle has been seen wearing one of Meena’s jackets during the latest episode of the ITV soap.

During a poignant scene, Charity was seen speaking with Belle Dingle as she feared that her marriage to Tom King wasn’t as smoothly as made out.

Charity questioned Belle intensely as she ‘worked out’ that she was being controlled by Tom.

As they chatted outside the pub, Belle almost confessed all about Tom’s wicked ways before the pair were interrupted by the abusive husband.

However, at home, fans were more taken by Charity opting to wear one of Meena’s jackets.

One fan insisted: “Convinced that jacket Charity has on belonged to Meena?”

Another appeared to suggest it was not the first time that she had worn the jacket as they penned: “Charity is still wearing Meena’s jacket.”

In response to the comments, another penned: “Yes I noticed that.”

Someone else seemed horrified as they said: “Is that… Meena’s jacket.”
