Sharing the process of putting it together, she said she and her partner began by putting down a weed control sheet which was £9.99 from B&M.

The video then shows them laying blue coloured palettes which they acquired for free from Facebook Marketplace.

Using decking tiles from Home Bargains, which comes in a pack of four for £9.99 – they used 18 packs.

To protect the edges of the decking, Teri said they used five packs of boarders, which she said they painted to get them to match.

They are from The Range and retail for £6.99.

To add some decor, they put borders around the weed control sheet from Poundland for one £1.99.

They then poured in some white coral stones from B&M, where a bag costs just £7.99.

The boarders were £1.99 from Poundland while the stones were £7.99 from B&M.

In the comments, people were divided over the transformation.

Some people said it was “brilliant” while others called it “cheap.”

One person wrote: “I think this looks amazing. Well done.”

“I love this. Good job [smiling face and thumbs up emoji],” said a second.

Another penned: “Smashed it. Well done, looks lush. Enjoy [hearts around face emoji].”

A fourth said: “Looks beautiful.”

A fifth said: “Looks lovely.”

Others weren’t as complimentary, saying they thought the paletts would rot as they were not treated.

One person commented: “Good idea but looks cheap.”

Best shops for garden bargains

WHILST garden centres offer a huge selection of garden bargains, if you're on a budget, here's where you need to head...

B&M: Shoppers have raved about the huge selection of cheap buys from B&M that will add style to your garden this summer – from cheap artificial rose garlands to bargain string lights.

Home Bargains: You can also stock up on bargain buys from Home Bargains – there’s £1.29 buys that’ll brighten up your garden and cheap lights too.

Tesco: It’s also worth visiting supermarkets such as Tesco if you need to stock up on outdoor plants and stylish outdoor lighting.

Sainsbury’s: If you’re on a budget, Sainsbury’s are selling solar lights for only £1.50 – but you’ll need to be quick to nab them.

“£160 is a lot for a small space that will not last,” a second wrote.

According to Associated Paletts, you should treat paletts to help them from rotting or critter infestation.

They say: “Wooden pallets are treated by being heated within a special kiln which helps to sterilise the wood, preventing insects, bacteria, and other natural contaminants from harming the wooden pallets.

“Heat treating is essential for the long-term protection of wooden pallets and other wooden pallet accessories.”

To make your pallets weatherproof, you need to get a varnish or finish such as this £8.99 one from B&Q.
