In a heated scene aired on Monday July 1, Priya surprised Nish as well as viewers with a raunchy proposition – here’s why.
Why did Priya kiss Nish in Eastenders?
The Eastenders star Piya shocked the Panesar household when she and her on-screen daughter, Avani made a surprise introduction to Albert Square.
Priya was introduced as Ravi Gulati’s ex-lover and mother to Nugget and his secret child Avani in 2023.
Priya and Avani have been anything but dull as they have shaken things up.
Scenes are set to escalate after Avani’s mother decided to kiss her ex-lovers father, Nish, in a bid to secure her families financial stability.
Nish recently made a comeback to the square to reveal he had been diagnosed with a terminal illness.
Since then, Priya’s was caught misusing Nish’s wife Suki‘s credit card.
The Panesar’s were not impressed with Priya’s wrong-doing and in a desperate attempt to smooth things over, Priya offered to make Nish’s final months “enjoyable”.
I won’t beat around the bush, we’ve both got needs. Mine financial, and yours… well, you’re a bloke with a few months left and nobody to share them with.

The two finalised their deal with a kiss leaving viewers stunned that villainous Nish would get romantically involved with the mother of his grandchild.
Who plays Priya in Eastenders?
The Eastenders bombshell Priya Nandra-Hart is played by Sophie Khan Levy.
Sophie is an English actress who some viewers may recognise from her appearance in The Sixth Commandment and the popular Channel 5 series All Creatures Great and Small.
Outside of Eastenders, the BBC star Sophie is also known to be friends Bridgerton star Jessica Madsen.
