Susan Sarandon’s Daughter Eva Unapologetically Defended Her Plunging Wedding Dress
When you’re a celebrity, the world might have strong opinions on just about anything you do. From who you date, how you dress, or how you choose to educate your kids, celebrities are often the victims of attacks online for no good reason.
Most recently, Susan Sarandon‘s daughter Eva Amurri, an actress and lifestyle blogger, got some slack from her followers for wearing a busty wedding dress.
“Such a tacky unclassy wedding dress,” wrote one user in the comments section on Instagram. “We know you have them!!!!!” wrote another commenter. “You don’t have to display them on a platter!!! ???????????? Yikes!!!”
As a reminder, Amurri tied the knot with chef Ian Hock in a beautiful intimate wedding in Hudson Valley, New York, on June 29.
When debriefing about her big day on Instagram Stories, Amurri shared how joyous the occasion was and gave quite an unapologetic reaction to all the hate.
“So much to share from this day, and so many thoughts,” she wrote on her Instagram stories. “But it was really the most special day filled with so so much love and the most incredible energy.”
“And to anyone scandalized by my breasts not being ‘put away’….” she wrote. “Feel free to screenshot this for later.” For this second part of her sentence, Amurri included a zoomed-in picture of her breasts in the corseted figure-hugging dress.
For her big day, Amurri rocked a strapless embroidered Kim Kassas gown with an attached billowing skirt which she bought at Bridal Reflections in New York City.
“I love how it has a vintage feel and is ultra feminine without being overly pouffy,” Amurri told People about her look. “I wanted to feel sexy but elegant, and I think the dress strikes the perfect balance.”
As long as she’s happy with her wedding, and her wedding dress, isn’t that all that matters?
“Wet Knots ♥️????????️♾️ It’s hard to put into words what Saturday was like other than just saying, ‘magical,'” Amurri celebrated on Instagram alongside photos of her big day. “The rain was uninvited…but perfect. We were surrounded by so much love. The day felt like time stood still for us. Joy was abundant. So many happy tears ???? Our families came together into a perfectly imperfect blended bubble of love and memories. We laughed so so much. We danced. Renewal was in the air.”
Congratulations to the newlyweds!
