Emmy Nominees for Multiple Series: Comedy Actress [PHOTOS]

In the course of a single decade, Natasha Lyonne reaped three acting Emmy nominations for as many series, the last two of which came for her star turns on the streaming comedy series “Russian Doll” (2019) and “Poker Face” (2023). She is thus one of only nine women ever recognized for multiple roles in the Best Comedy Actress category. Tour our photo gallery to find out who else belongs to this exclusive club.

Two-thirds of the actresses on this list were lauded for at least one of their nominated performances. The four who won for two series each are Lucille Ball (“I Love Lucy”; “The Lucy Show”), Mary Tyler Moore (“The Dick Van Dyke Show”; “The Mary Tyler Moore Show”), Bea Arthur (“Maude”; “The Golden Girls”), and Julia Louis-Dreyfus (“The New Adventures of Old Christine”; “Veep”).

Despite the fact that female comedy series stars were not permanently afforded an exclusive category until 1966, those (like Ball and Moore) who competed for earlier generic awards such as “Best Female Star of a Regular Series” are factored in here.
