Morrisons shoppers have been rushing to bag up the drink after the supermarket announced they are exclusively selling the flavour this summer.

It has been launched as part of their 125th birthday celebrations after the popular company opened their first store way back in 1899.

The bottles are in the standard 700ml size and come in at a boozy 17 per cent alcohol content.

The official Baileys website describes it as: “The perfectly delicious sponge cake you love swirled into your favourite Baileys Original Irish Cream to take the magic to the next level.”

With even the bottles being luxuriously designed.

They feature bright pink text of the flavour underneath the classic Baileys logo.

The creamy bottle is also covered in confetti and ribbons with a very artsy cake sat proudly in the middle.

Morrisons posted the bottles on their Facebook page as thousands of shoppers reacted to the fresh flavour.

One said: “That looks yummy, need a taste of that.”

As a second wrote: “Oh wow I need some of this.”

Others called it “very tasty” and even “absolutely delicious” with a third declaring the drink as “lovely”.

Some were less keen on the idea of the birthday tipple though with one commenting: “Birthday cake??? Doesn’t anyone drink real drinks anymore?”

As another fuming Baileys lover put: “Noooooo, so wrong. Baileys stop messing with my drink!!”

Baileys has stayed so popular with Brits of all ages through their unique use of different flavour combinations.

Alongside their traditional Irish cream version they also sell a number of chocolatey editions such as Mintchoc Shake and Chocloateluxe.

With dessert concoctions also on the menu like Colada, Espresso Creme, Orange Truffle, Eton Mess, Salted Caramel and Tiramisu.

More new drinks are coming out just in time for summer with Aldi releasing beers and ciders inspired by your favourite tipples.

There is a Passion Fruit Martini Pale Ale from The Hop Foundry which is said to be a ‘light and refreshing’ tipple.

The Hop Foundry’s Strawberry Daiquiri Pale Ale is also available and is brimming with berries and hops.

If you are watching along with Wimbledon you could even pick up the brand’s Peach on the Beach Pale Ale.

Or try ciders in the form of a cheeky Pina Colada, Raspberry Mojito and Peach on the Beach varieties.

It comes as cereal giants Kellogg’s launched a brand-new flavour of their legendary Squares bars by combining two beloved breakfast staples.

The traditional Rice Krispies which make up the cereal bars have now been mixed together with Corn Flakes to produce a marvel for the mouth.
