Alice Whitacre, age 72, a resident of Portland, passed away on Sunday, May 12, 2024 at Persimmon Ridge in Portland. Alice was born October 7, 1951, in Jay County, the daughter of Ralph and Catherine (Heniscey) Bennett. Alice worked for Marsh and Lobills in Portland and was also a manager for Heather Park Apartments in Portland. Alice loved playing bingo, reading, coloring, crocheting, and she deeply loved her family and loved to help anyone in need. Alice attended The Rock Church.
