Kate Winslet Reunited with 'The Reader' Co-Star David Kross as She Was Honored at Munich Film Festival 2024

Kate Winslet is being honored!

The 48-year-old Oscar, Emmy, and Grammy winner posed for photos at the 2024 Munich International Film Festival on Tuesday (July 2) held at the Deutsches Theater in Munich, Germany.

Kate, who looked stylish in a white suit, was honored with CineMerit award, also known as the lifetime achievement award, by her The Reader co-star David Kross.

Keep reading to find out more…As he honored Kate, David, 33, praised his co-star for effectively being his intimacy coordinator on set of the 2008 film, which they filmed when he was 17-18-years-old.

“I’m still very thankful for the way you made me feel at ease when working on those very intimate scenes, you created a safe space and helped me understand the process, patiently, empathetically, and most of all with a lot of humor,” David said, according to Deadline.

In a recent interview, Kate explained why her iconic kiss with Leonardo DiCaprio in Titanic was actually a “nightmare” to film!
