SP: Chester woman intentionally hit victim with her car
NORTH CREEK, N.Y. (NEWS10) -- A Chester woman was arrested and is accused of intentionally hitting a victim with her car, hospitalizing them. Jennifer Thul, 50, was charged with first-degree assault.
On Friday, around 6:56 p.m., troopers responded to a home in North Creek for reports of a dispute. Police say an investigation found Thul and the victim involved had a verbal dispute. During the dispute, police say Thul struck the victim with her car.
Police say the victim left the property in their own var and Thul contacted 911. The victim was later found at Glens Falls Hospital with serious injuries. They were taken to Albany Medical Center via Medflight, where they are in critical but stable condition.
Thul was arrested and processed at Queensbury State Police. She was arraigned at the Warren County Centralized Arraignment Part Court and remanded to the Warren County Correctional Facility in lieu of $10,000 cash, $20,000 bond, or a $40,000 partially secured bond.
