Newsmax host stomps on Trump spokesperson’s call for ‘total surrender’ by Democrats
Trump campaign spokesperson Caroline Sunshine called for the "total surrender" of Democrats after the debate between President Joe Biden and former President Donald Trump.
Sunshine, deputy communications director for Trump's campaign, made the remarks Wednesday on Newsmax.
"That debate was really the death of Joe Biden's presidency," Sunshine said. "Look, it doesn't matter who the Democrat Party runs."
Trump's spokesperson cited an Axios report that said, "From 10am to 4pm, Biden is dependably engaged."
"My advice to the Democrat Party would be total surrender now," she said. "You are stuck with Joe Biden at the top of your ticket, and anybody that you can dream of replacing him with cannot beat President Trump, as we just saw in the latest round of polls."

"My advice would be save yourself millions of dollars, do the right thing for the country, and just sit this entire presidential election cycle out, because the American people are very clear about what and who they want," she added.
Newsmax host Rob Finnerty pointed out that the "total surrender" of Democrats was unlikely.
"The American people will vote on November the 5th, and we'll find out," he insisted. "I don't think the Democrats are going to sit this election out."
