President Joe Biden Explains His Debate Performance, Why He 'Didn't Have His Best Night'

President Joe Biden attended an event in McLean, Virginia this week, where he spoke about his debate performance.

If you didn’t see, the 81-year-old President of the United States debated Republican candidate Donald Trump last week, and some grew concerned upon seeing his performance.

After the debate performance, some analysts on the major news networks revealed concerns they had heard from leading democratic minds that perhaps the President should step down as the nominee.

Now, the President is explaining why he might have looked tired during the debate.

He blamed his travel schedule, saying it “wasn’t very smart” to be “traveling around the world a couple of times” before debating Trump.

“I didn’t have my best night…I decided to travel around the world a couple of times, going through I don’t know how many time zones…I figure it was about fifty time zones…in the couple of weeks before the debate,” he shared. “I didn’t listen to my staff …and then I almost fell asleep on stage.”

“It’s not an excuse but an explanation,” he added.
