Tiara of the month: how Queen Maud’s glittering diadem was stolen during a jewellery heist in London and never recovered
The headpiece was thought to have been created by the jewellers Carrington and Co in 1896 in time to be worn by Princess Maud of Wales at her wedding to Prince Carl of Denmark
