Albany schools take part in free summer meal program

ALBANY, N.Y. (NEWS10)-- The City School District of Albany is providing free meals at eight Albany public schools this summer. The Summer Food Service Program starts on Monday, July 8, and serves breakfast and lunch to students 18 and under.

The free program is available to children regardless of race, color, national origin, or sex, including gender identity and sexual orientation, age, or disability. The meals are provided on a first-come, first-served basis at all locations, and anyone looking for more information can call (518) 475-6000.

    • Breakfast: 8 to 9 a.m.
