Rajasthan minister Kirodi Lal Meena resigns

BJP leader Kirodi Lal Meena has resigned from the Rajasthan Cabinet, according to his aide on Thursday. Meena, 72, had pledged to step down if the BJP lost any of the seven parliamentary seats under his responsibility during the recent Lok Sabha polls. The party lost some of these seats, including Meena's native Dausa.
